The app says the vehicle is not plugged in

After plugging your vehicle into the charger, it may take up to 60 seconds for the ev.energy app to receive readings from the charger or vehicle before confirming that the vehicle is plugged in.


If the issue persists after 60 seconds, try these steps:

  • Check that the charger and vehicle are online. You can find instructions on how to do this here: How to handle offline hardware.
  • Refresh the app using the refresh button at the top right of the dashboard.
  • Close and relaunch the app.
  • Ensure the charger socket is fully secured.
