I don’t want all the energy from my solar panels to go to my car

We understand your solar array is also used to power your home during daylight hours, and that you might not want ev.energy to assume all that energy is going into your car.

There is currently no way to select what percentage of the energy created by your panel we can use when charging your car – but one easy workaround is to enter a smaller solar panel array size. For example, if you want only 50% of your solar energy to charge your car, enter an array size half the size of your actually array in the "Energy Supply >  Solar" settings.

For example, if your solar array is 10kW, and you want your house to use half of that – then indicate an array size of 5kW in the app.
