When you turn Solar charging on, we will charge your car from a mix of your solar panels and the grid, depending on your tariff and your solar output. See here for more details on how we choose the best time to charge.
The "Solar smart charging now" or "Solar charge scheduled" statuses will be displayed when a smart charge session is ongoing or scheduled and you have Solar turned on.
After the session is completed, you will be able to see how much Solar energy was delivered on your Session Summary.
Please note this does not necessarily mean we will 100 % be drawing power from your solar panels in that session or that we are drawing power from your solar panels at the moment. It only indicates that we are taking into account both your solar output and the current status of the electricity grid to decide which one is more suitable at that moment.
