Eligibility & Enrollment

The Program is open to all residential UI and Eversource customers in Connecticut with

an active account. Residential customers are defined as existing UI or Eversource

customers, in Connecticut, living in a single-family home or a multi-unit dwelling

(“MUD”), with four or fewer units on the property. To be eligible, each unit of an MUD

must be separately metered with its own utility account.


Participation in the Program requires that a participant’s EV charger, EV, and/or

combination of technologies meet certain criteria.


Participants either must have a compatible EV or a compatible Smart LVL 2 charger from the lists below:


EVs:

  • Ford: Mustang Mach-E: 2021 and newer
  • Chevy: Bolt, Volt
  • BMW: i3, i3 REX, and i4
  • Jaguar: i-Pace 2019 and newer
  • Range Rover:
    • PHEV P400e 2019 and newer
    • Sport PHEV P400e 2019 and newer
  • Tesla:
    • Model X
    • Model Y
    • Model S
    • Model 3
  • Volkswagen:
    • e-golf 2020 and newer


Smart LVL 2  Chargers:

  • Chargepoint CPH50
  • Enel X Juicebox
  • Smartenit SmartElek
