If your charger lacks a physical lock, you will need to ensure that the app and the charger are connected and online, and that smart charging is ON in order to lock and unlock the charger.
- Check Connectivity: Ensure that your charger is online and has a stable internet connection. If the charger is not online, it will not be able to receive any commands from the app.
- Contact Support: If you have lost access to the app the best course of action is to contact our customer support team at support@ev.energy.
Please note that both the app and internet access are required for locking and unlocking the charger. Therfore, make sure your charger keeps a stable internet connection at all times. If the charger loses connectivity, the app lock will become inactive.
