Unfortunately, Octopus requires complete control over your charge schedules as part of this offer, therefore this is the only tariff where we are unable to officially support smart charging.
This should have been explained by Octopus at the time and can be found on their website as well:

You are welcome to try and use the ev.energy app to smart charge but we cannot guarantee reliability as Octopus will also be controlling your charge and this can lead to errors.
Therefore if you are having smart charging issues with Intelligent, we cannot offer support.
You may still use our app with smart charging turned off to benefit from our data exports and track your home and public charges in one place!
