To connect your EN+ charger, you’ll need to complete two steps:
Provision via EN+ web portal
First, you must complete commissioning of the charger in the EN+ portal.
Install the EN+ Smart Home charger
Once the charger is powered up and running, on a mobile device head to Settings and WiFi
You should see the charger WiFi hotspot on the list, starting with ‘SN100…’
Connect to this network, and when prompted to enter a password type ‘admin123’
Your mobile device should connect to this network. Once connected open the web browser on your mobile device.
In the URL, search for ‘192.168.4.1’ and this should take you to the network configuration page of the charger.
On this page you will need a pin code to access the settings of the charger. This 4 digit pin code can be found on a sticker on the charger.
Once you are in the config portal of the charger, you will see a page like the following.
Select ‘Network Settings’
In the following screenshot, enter in the box wss://ocpp.ev.energy:443 and when you click off the text box the serial number of the charger will automatically append to the end of the URL
Click save and reboot the charger.
The charger is now pointed to the ev.energy cloud. The user can proceed to creating an account and following the in app on boarding steps to select EN+ and commission their charger to the en.energy account.
Onboard the charger in the ev.energy app
- From the charger selection page, select EN+
- From the product line selection page, choose Smart Home
- Locate the 16-digit serial number, beginning with the characters “SN” on the sticker placed on the side of the EVSE
- Enter the serial number into the app
- Your charger should be onboarded
