The ev.energy app Smart Charges your car with cheaper and greener energy. To ensure that this is possible the application may send a number of start/stop signals during a single charging session.
Most Tesla models are designed with a 'deep sleep' mode which will kick in if the car does not receive any signals for certain period of time. The result of this being, that the start/stop charging signals our application sends to the car are not received.
The solution to this is to enable 'Sentry Mode' on your Tesla, whilst this mode is enabled the car will remain 'awake' and will receive the messages we are sending to it, resulting in successful Smart Charging.
