We're compatible with almost any energy tariff* - so no matter what tariff you're on, we'll be able to optimise for lower price and lower carbon. If you're looking to switch energy suppliers, we've put together a handy list of recommended EV tariffs to help you get the most out of your charging:
In the UK, we recommend the following tariffs:
E.ON Next - The E.ON Next Drive tariff has been created specifically with EV drivers in mind. This tariff uses 100% renewable energy and offers you lower-priced electricity at 6.9p per kWh when you charge between 12am and 7am.
Octopus Energy - Agile tariff. With Agile Octopus, you get access to half-hourly energy prices, tied to wholesale prices and updated daily. So when wholesale electricity prices drop, so do your bills – and if you can shift your daily electricity use outside of peak times, you can save even more. The ev.energy app offers a handy 'price limit' setting that you can update according to your Agile daily prices to make sure you're always charging at your cheaper hours. EDF Energy - GoElectric Overnight tariff. 5 hours of off-peak electricity at just 9p per kWh.
British Gas - Electric vehicle (EV) tariff. Super-cheap electricity at night – just 7.9p per kWh between 12am-5am.
*ev.energy is not compatible with "Intelligent Octopus" and "OVO Charge Anytime" tariffs.
